"Twilight Glow"

In this video we walk through many of the fundamental editing techniques I use in most of my “dreamy” style astrophotos.

I will walk through the process of complex foreground masking, color and tonal range selections for precise edits, precision star masking, blending a meteor into a nightscape, adding artistic Orton and Star Glow, my Camera RAW system, using color overlapping color balance selections, gradients, and many creative adjustments to create depth and epic-ness in your astro, dreamscape, and nightscape images!

In this video we walk through the vision and editing techniques I use to create my classic Dreamscape images- blending in multiple elements with foregrounds, clouds, and deep space Hubble images!

In this video I go through the process of complex masking, color range, my "folder" system of double masking, overlaying multiple masks and selections for extremely precise adjustments, adding realistic horizon glow and lighting to increase realism and blend transition between composited layers, and many creative adjustments to create depth and epic-ness in your astro and dreamscape images!

In this video we discuss the advanced blending and Photoshop tools used to edit and create "Time Blends", also known as sunset and milky way image composites first made popular and mastered by Dan Greewood, my original mentor and good friend.
